Sarah Williams – Sales Representative

Sarah looks at her role at Endeavour Education as more than just sales: she is also in the role of building business relationships.

To Sarah, her school clients are there to be looked after and nurtured – this is how to establish long-term and mutually beneficial relationships.

“This is my favourite part of my job – building a relationship with my clients so that we share a common goal. I have a high degree of integrity and this means my customer always comes first. I’m there to look after my clients. I’m there to assist them and supply them with the best resources available.”

When helping a school create a booklist, the process usually begins with a meeting between Sarah and key school staff to establish what the school requires in terms of specific subjects and publishers.

Sarah then liaises with our publishing partners and supplies the teachers with one of our up-to-date checklists so that they can see what resources are available. She advises on what textbooks and education resources would suit their requirements, and also what would be the most effective combination of print and digital titles for teachers and students.

After this meeting, Sarah formulates a draft booklist to send to the school. Once it is approved, it is made accessible to students on our website.

Sarah can also assist with tailored book orders – for example, if a student is vision impaired or has additional literacy needs, she can source specialist education resources to help.

“I really enjoy working in the education sector and being able to help my clients. I also love the flexibility and diversity of my role.”

Away from the office, Sarah, a mother of two, enjoys walking, swimming and boating, and spending time with family and friends. She’s also a big fan of reading books!
