Jean Hayman – Sales Representative

Jean has been working in sales at Endeavour Education for more than 20 years. During this time, she has seen a lot of changes in school education – particularly the explosion of digital resources and the evolution of new subject syllabi and curricula.

But throughout it all, Jean has been there, using her extensive experience to deliver the most effective educational resources to her clients.

“I always like to take a personal approach with my clients so that they get to know me. I’m not just a name on paper. And because of our relationship, my clients know that I’m always available when they need something.”

Importantly, Jean says that she also acts as a conduit of information between her schools and our publishing partners.
“This is a very important role. I allow the flow of information so that if there is a syllabus change, I can show the schools how big the change is and what resources we have available.

“The sooner we can inform them about changes, and show them the resources, the faster they can get on with their planning and delivery of classes.”

The long-term relationships Jean has established with both her clients and our publishing partners means that she can deliver a tailored service that meets the unique needs of every school.

“Endeavour Education has been around for a long time. We’ve built strong relationships with everyone that we work with and this means that we’re always able to consider different options to help our schools.”

Jean is also a regular representative at industry expos and conferences where she displays Endeavour Education’s range of titles and services and answers questions from visiting teachers and school staff.

A mother of two, Jean says she has a strong sense of community. She and her husband volunteer every Saturday at their local community op shop. She feels the same sense of community and service towards her school clients.

“I like being able to make a difference and knowing that I can help schools and teachers get the best resources. When I show a client a new education resource and they get excited, that makes me happy.”
